The WIPO IP Business Center @ ASME serves as a dedicated resource hub for SMEs, entrepreneurs, and startups to leverage intellectual property for business growth. The Center will provide:
- Capacity-building programs and workshops tailored to startup and SME needs
- Strategic IP advisory services and consultations
- Access to WIPO's global resources, tools, and programs
- Training initiatives for entrepreneurs and industry professionals
- Coordinated support mechanisms to strengthen Singapore and the region's IP ecosystem

Intellectual Property Management Clinic (IPMC) Singapore Programme
The Intellectual Property Management Clinic (IPMC) Singapore Programme — offered in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) — supports innovative enterprises in formulating their IP strategies based on their business plan and intangible assets portfolio.

WIPO ADR for IP and technology disputes.
The Center collaborates with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center on WIPO's IP- and technology-related alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, promoting and facilitating the use of WIPO ADR for ASME members.
The Center offers ADR options for the resolution of commercial disputes between private parties. Developed by leading experts in cross-border dispute settlement, the arbitration, mediation, and expert determination procedures offered by the Center are widely recognised as particularly appropriate for technology, entertainment, and other disputes involving intellectual property.

The Advisory Panel is formed to provide essential guidance, ground appreciation, and network connectivity within regional countries. Beyond providing strategic oversight, the panelists serve as the Center's ambassadors within their respective home countries and help regional SMEs unlock the value of their intangible assets.
The panel's term of appointment will be from 1 March 2026 to 31 December 2027.

WIPO-ASME Inaugural Workshop
Insightful sharing by an esteemed panel on IP and Internationalisation. Selected SMEs had the opportunity to attend a 1-on-1 tailored guidance session by expert teams comprising WIPO specialists, ASME representatives, and local IP experts across two parallel tracks.
The WIPO advisory session was extremely valuable in helping me understand how to structure and protect IP as a strategic business asset for my 2 businesses, and Renee was very helpful in sharing her experience and providing her views from the legal perspectives.
The session was very informative, and it had a lot of substance. The consultant elaborated and gave me a clearer picture on trademark situations.
